Happy Feet Friday
Phil Harris and his band perform “That’s What I Like About the South”.
I really liked Phil Harris. A popular band leader, and a regular on the Jack Benny radioprogram, he and his wife Alice Faye had their own program from the mid-forties to the mid-fifties. Today, Harris is probably best known as the voice of Baloo the bear in Disney's Jungle Book. I was interested to see that he lived to the ripe old age of 91, passing away in 1995.
