Harry Reid: "Hey, I'm just here for the cheese"

Senator Harry Reid is dogged by a private citizen in a gourmet grocery store in McLean, Virginia. Hilarity ensues.

  4. Bet the store video has been turned over to Reid and passed on. Funny that Reid didn't use the old "are you a constituent" card, since you can't talk to a staffer unless you're from his district. Also, maybe I'm not getting this but, why did the other shoppers applaud when Reid was exposed?

  6. Merilyn:He is the Majority Leader in the Senate, and as such, is accorded extra protection not given to "ordinary" Senators. Also, he might have heard that Sarah Palin was in town and asked for extra protection. You know how she can be.
