I especially liked the last fly by in the clip. You can SEE the sonic boom right behind the Blue Angel.

And just imagine the consternation of all those boaters! Heh.

Jeff: I liked #3, where it looked like the pilot just missed hitting the guy on the runway by a couple of feet.

That was my second favorite, actually. The guy REALLY trusted the pilot; he didn't even flinch.

I must say, though, that I've had fly overs not a lot higher than that. We were on a ridge above the impact area in Yakima Training Center (the infamous "OP 1", for all youse veterans out there), and the fast movers came in just above the ridge line for their bomb run.

We called them "panel checks", because you could see the individual access panels on the fuselage. And then they dropped their Mark 82s, and BOOM!

Good times. Ignoring the scorching temperatures, rattlers, dust, boredom, MREs, and other military privileges, of course.

Wow, Paco, I bet you never knew your coach gun could double as AAA when you bought it, did you?

I remember driving out to the White Tank mountains west of Phoenix one time, and was surprised by a couple of fighters that swooped down low over the road (Luke Air Force Base is nearby). The things came out of nowhere. Very exciting.
