The Lego version (slide show here).
The only things missing are some little Lego yobs and militant Muslims hanging out on the fringes.

"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
I think a substantial bunch of presbies is certainly in order. And to add a balance to the diversity quotient why not invite those nutters from the Kansas church. Why not invite some of the puppet people dressed as watermelons so Prince Charles won't feel so lonely and isolated as he downs some of that Ben & Jerry's new labor(name pending) ice cream.
ReplyDeleteSimply trying to help.
It's odd. That Lego diorama is exactlythe impression I formed about the whole William/Kate thing.
ReplyDeleteOh fode (Portuguese) the royal wedding; let's discuss the Canadian election.
ReplyDelete==============================
Nothing much happening. It is widely held that nothing significant will happen until after Easter, when there is a long weekend and families will get together and chat.
But, something significant HAS happened. Count Iggy of Canada the Liberal, (check his Russian aristocratic credentials), admitted on the Communist Broadcasting Corporation's (CBC) TV channel that he would form a coalition with the Knee Dippers (NDP socialists) and the Quebec separatist BQ (Bloc Quebecois).
He spent today "clarifying" and being definately definate and "making himself clear" that he will form a government, not a coalition. Hahahah!!!
But, as I said in my first posting, the sole issue of this election is: "Who governs?" The liberals have never given up their grip on the reigns of government in this country as they ahve a century of domination. They are giving up the Orb and Sceptre with their death-grip hands. This MUST happen for Canada toadvance , nmove forward, rather than become another Western sclerotic country.
Have any of you seen the spoof on the royal wedding put out by a mobile phone company? It is very good.
ReplyDeleteIt is onyou tubee and has gone viral but when I tried to send it from the papers here no one seems to have received it.
Merilyn: Is it this one?
