Pilin' on Palin

I find some of the attacks on Sarah Palin coming from the right to be odd in the extreme, and am baffled as to why so many seem to be coming from writers like John Podhoretz whose articles I've generally admired. Josh at Texans for Sarah Palin has an extensive roundup of responses from the non-Palin-hating right.

Remember that Sarah is not conventional; she is anti-establishment. She won Governorship in Alaska AGAINST the Republican establishment. Reps and Dems close ranks to keep out aliens such as Sarah, because, frankly, the plebs are just not worth listening to.

Sarah is a threat to the Repub establishment as well as the Demo estab. GO SARAH GO!

And Robert, if that's not proof of the sad state of Federal Affairs, nothing is.

I'm going soonest to change my voting registration to NoPartyAffiliation. Meant to do it after the last election. I cannot believe this crap.

On second thought...yes, I can.

I blame New York City, and Washington, DC. Too many commentators have a thumb-sucking obsession with either/both cities. But then I'm quite crabbed.
