Hats off to Australian engineer, Chris Malloy!

He's invented something that will make my daily commute to Washington a breeze.

And for when I retire, I'm considering one of these.

  1. Heh! Just land on the office roof! Parking problems would be solved.

  3. Nifty contraption! Although the one seat and the pricey price tag are a problem. It would have come in handy last Sunday as I might have been able to manuver out of the way of the 17 year old who was doing warp speed as he collided with my new/old/used baby. But I digress. Paco, by the time you retire, there will be a two seater (with a side car for Mable, of course) that will be perfect for flitting across desert landscape kicking up EPA angering dust. Go for it!

  5. I look at those hover-things and I think they're cool... then I visualize the 101/405 interchange in three dimensions with no lanes and California drivers...
