Happy Feet Friday
Benny Goodman and the boys (check out those sidemen: Lionel Hampton, Harry James, Gene Krupa…very hep!)
I lucked onto a cassette tape of Benny when I was checking out a clearance box of cassettes at a truck stop in Dunnigan Ca, I got it for a buck or two and wore it out over several years. The songs roughly followed the movie with Steve Allen and the Avalon was a lot better than this here. (Not to be rude.)
