Wyoming: ahead of the curve

Wyoming is evaluating what it will do in the case of a complete federal government meltdown.

I don't believe Virginia has prepared for that kind of event, but a small group of us here in Fairfax County are ready to take care of business on a smaller scale, should the need arise. Ain't that right, boys?

"That's right, Cap'n Paco! You jes' give us the word."

  1. I've worked in Wyoming quite a bit; they have a fairly practical state constitution, and their attitude tends to be pragmatic. Good on them.

  2. I daresay Ohio has not (and probably will not) put a plan like that in place, given that this is a state full of retirees, the laid-off, and union Democrats. Our best bet is to huddle in a hidey-hole until the worst is over.

  3. ...a complete meltdown of the federal government

Didn't that start about three years ago?

  7. Okay, I don't know what's going on with Blogger, but they have gone way beyond the curve. Is this what it's supposed to look like, and are we supposed to like it? Incidentally, I was annoyed by the two word safety feature against robots, but I was willing to live with it. Now I'm just annoyed.

  8. I don't know what Blogger's up to; unfortunately, I don't have any control over it (at least, I don't think I do).

  9. Programmers are like politicians -- they're always fiddling with something that's working.

  10. Deborah Leigh said...Paco, I agree with Rebecca. These new fangled changes are annoying. I say you get the boys together and xplain it to 'em. We need a little range time.

Here in Blueifornia, we could be arrested for even suggesting we go "Wyoming". It would be like Canada and a child's drawing of a of guns.
