Why 18 years? The historical average is 16 years. Personally, I would think 12 or 16 years would be more reasonable. Is there a shortage of judges qualified to be SC judges?

Deborah Leigh said....Term limits should have been put in place years ago. And while they're at it, look at the House and Senate.
