Happy days are here again!

Mitt Romney's people are making quite a bit of hay out of President Happy Jack Choommaster's assurance that the private sector is "doing just fine."

Before one scoffs at fast food joints disappearing, may I say they were preceded by Eel River Sawmills, Hambro's two flakeboard plants, whoever it is who owned the pulp mill in Samoa, Blue Lake Forest Products, the mills in Carlotta, Fortuna, and Redcrest.

All done.
