The Obama layoffs

Darleen Click at Protein Wisdom has what is sure to be only a preliminary list of companies responding to Obama’s economy by cutting employees loose. By the way, I love this particular story:
One man, owner of a trucking firm in Ventura — 75 employees, $6 mill payroll, discussed how even as times have been tough over the last few years, he’s made it a point to make his payroll, even dipping into his own savings. He was walking by the breakroom and heard some of his employees snickering about the election and they had wanted Obama to stay President to make sure the rich pay. He then thought “what am I putting myself at risk? He then went and canceled his order for 6 new trucks (approximately $600,000 worth of an order) and is planning to lay off 20 or more people. So sad, too bad.
Look for more and more people and businesses to implement variations of “going John Galt”. If we cannot slay the beast in open combat, then let us starve the thing.

  1. Electing Romney would have been the last chance to get rid of Obamacare which small business just can't afford. The money isn't there. Even big business is going to have a hard time staying competitive with countries that do not have Obamacare.

That, and government regulations have been increasing for some time. Small business can't afford 'em.

The only way to stay in business is to deal in cash only and avoid the government.

  2. Might be barter in some cases, Swampie.

  3. JeffS, barter works for me, too. I've got chickens, ducks, eggs, rabbits, sheep, wool, and homespun yarn to trade. Soon I'll have greens, peas, carrots, lettuce, and onions. And concrete planters. And porch rockers and children's furniture.

  4. One of the biggest Obama layoffs is General Petreus.

I find this sword, that he fell upon. hard to swallow, as it were.

Benghazi: Petreus knows who did, said, saw and knew what, when it was happening. Now, after the CIC has been re-elated (sic), General Betrayus must go.

    Does anyone else sense suspicion?

  5. So, where is the evidence?

The sexy betrayer of Patreus's wife?

Where is the inconsoluble wife crying in the cameras?

No, this is a stuff-up until the "witnesses" are displayed to the public.

Until the President's Men manufacture these things, I believe it's a lie to protect The One.

  6. Let's go no further in detail; let's just state the obvious:

This is a fraud. Obama has forced an enemy who knew too much to resign and keep his mouth shut up. Chicago politics.

BTW Obama is not a player here; he is merely the front man, the muppet, the teleprompter reader.

  7. So, who has their hand up Obama's backside moving his lips, ventriloquist style?

  8. Deborah Leigh said....I heard the gentleman from Ventura this morning. Boeing: 30% of management. Staff. Lockheed Martin: 23,000. I'll bet the laidoffs at the small company will feel just like the ones at the large. There's equality for ya. And this time it's all Obama's. You bought you pay for it, Barry. And that boat we're all in, well, it just got incredibly smaller.

  9. The bastards have you snookered.
They've been planning this for several decades.
2008 was a communist coup; and the 2012 elections were rigged, imo.
If you starve the beast by going Galt, Russia and China are waiting in the wings to destroy you when you are weakened enough.
If you do not go Galt, Obama and his commie cronies will continue to use your taxes to fund the destruction of the U.S.A. and free world.

Oh, and Obama and Co. just purchased 1.5 billion rounds of hollow-point ammo.
