"A person with a gun and a government badge asked me to swear in writing that a lie was true today"

The zombie apocalypse is here, although we know it better as bureaucracy.

  1. He was right not to sign. DHS could have come back later, accused him of taking possession of the boat under false pretenses, and seized the boat for good (and under this government, who thinks that might not have been the intent?). This way, he has a good chance of getting it back.

  2. Any wagers the agent who seized the man's boat gets a bonus, or some sort of departmental award?

Did anyone else see the idiot DHS agent who posted a comment claiming to have "been there", and got a rhetorical ass-kicking? DHS, and it's TSA kindergarten, just may be the worst government agency this country has ever created.

  3. I read that, Spiny. Just another Federal employee whining about being caught out.

Notice the repeated uses of "Mr Rich Guy".

Something seems to be rolling downhill from the White House.

  5. Deborah said...The agent who seized the boat was smiling because she gets a commission. Could this be a set up?

  6. It's becoming very apparent that the "public servants" who are supposed to catch terrorists have become the terrorists. Not that I expected anything else.
