ReplyDeleteYES SHE WAS! IIRC(whoa!) she was also a conservative Republican.
Let's not forget another focus of the Yojimbo Marching and Chowder Society-Cyd Charrise!
Deborah said...I was fortunate to see Ann Miller and Mickey Rooney in "Sugar Babes" at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. It was a perfect venue since it still has the original art deco trappings, and once was a movie house that played their films. I had a high fever, but nothing was going to stop me from this opportunity to see these living legends! It was unforgettable!
ReplyDeleteOn returning, I told my Dad. He nonchalantly said he had been an usher there. Wow!
Yes and so am I now, Paco.

ReplyDeleteDeborah; I saw Les Miserables there.
Deborah said...Wasn't it great, Yojimbo? A fantastic show in a such a gorgeous theatre makes memories. Richard and I saw Wicked there, twice! We even met Megan Hilty (Glinda) and Joann Worley, as well as most of the cast. I've seen Les Miserables at the Dorothy Chandler, and recently at the Segerstrom (formerly Orange County Perf. Arts Center).
