Sequester this!

What, they don't have a Motel 6 in Paris?
Recent documents posted to a government website give a rare glimpse of Vice President Joe Biden’s overseas travel expenses.

Official business took him last month to Europe, a trip that included a bill of $585,000 for his one-night stay in Paris.
For this, we're going to furlough meat inspectors?

  1. I understand the need for security and round-the-clock, all-over-the-world communications. What I question is why the POTUS and the VPOTUS need a veritable army of Secret Service bodyguards, when the heads of state of other countries need so much less. Does the President of France have a food taster? Does the Prime Minister of Britain travel with a 40-car motorcade? Do any of them require 20 hotel rooms for offices? Show me some comparisons and I'll understand.

These guys give the memory of Julius Caesar a run for his money.

  2. More like giving Caligula a run for his money. Seriously.

(Before he appointed his horse to the Senate - that would be Joey Hairplugs - and a bout of malaria and Drusilla's death drove him completely mad...)

  3. Biden thinks he's Justin Beiber. entertainment & D.C. types often confuse what they're supposed to be doing. At least Beiber does stupid on his own dime.....
