The main thing I hold against Neville Chamberlaine is that he died in 1940, before he could fully appreciate the fruits of his labor.
ReplyDeleteHe was the one who started Britain's rearmament programs in 1938; and after resigning, he stayed in Cabinet at Churchill's request, filling the role of Deputy Prime Minister.
