Business opportunity in Detroit

Hunting safaris.

In other "big cat" news, the Tigers' pitching ace, Max Scherzer, not only won his 19th game today, but hit a run-scoring double.

  1. Deborah ... The cat sounds like a hybrid pet. If it is it might not be hard to capture. In the meantime, it's a sure bet the feral dog problem will be much improved.

  2. "This thing is out here, bro."

I'm gonna use that line every chance I get. Love it! :-)

  4. Ted Nugent, that Michigan madman, can probably be seen bow hunting in his loincloth amongst rotting suburban ruins and overgrown hedges.

Meanwhile, the Tigers would dearly love a World Series replay against the Giants right about now.

  7. It isn't the stray dogs and cats that keep me away from Detroit. It's the feral humans!

  8. A lot of people (illegally and stupidly) keep wild animals as pets. Sometimes, those critters get (or are let) loose.

Lacking a photo, it's impossible to say if this an exceptionally large cat, a hybrid, or a former inmate, I can only file this as "interesting".

  9. Latest pictures seem to show that it's a cross between a Savannah cat and an ordinary house cat. Seems to be about twice as big as an average house cat.
