"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh

That's the same appearance where President Monumental D*** F*** mixed up the Gulf Coast with the Atlantic seaboard, a really epic faux pas.
ReplyDeleteJet lag, or an ill timed drag? One has to wonder.
That's ol' President Smartest-man-in-the-room.
ReplyDeleteThey just never give the last part: -full-of-rocks.
As usual, when the comparison of deaths from something to the number of people who die in car accidents is bandied about, El Jefe overlooked an important point. Terrorist murders are intentional. Car deaths, with rare exceptions, are accidents. Criminal intent is an essential aspect of the terrorism, and makes it much more repreehnsible than accidental death.
ReplyDeleteThe distinction between intent and lack of intent is an important one in the law of homicide. One might have thought a trained lawyer would understand it. In this case, one would be wrong. I rather doubt that El Jefe comprehends law all that well. He certainly doesn't understand the Constitution.
And we are surprised by this, why?
ReplyDeleteThere's lots more people committing driving on a daily basis, after all...
