"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Yeah, pretty much 90% of the country up to about 20 years ago were radical extremists.
ReplyDeleteFortunately, the past five years have more or less shown considerable evolution in that nearly half no longer love their country.
Yay.
Deborah .... Pogo was right when he stated, "We have met the enemy...and it is us."
ReplyDeleteFirst I was a member of the "angry mob", now an "extremist". "Terrorist" must be next. It seems only yesterday that we stood proudly as a nation, waving the flag, and cursing the cowardly enemy who attacked us. To paraphrase the old ad line, "What a difference a decade makes."
I'm not sure I could put on a uniform today, under the circumstances. God bless those that do. But this isn't the services I know.
Deborah .... Saul Alinsky taught them well. This is all part of the "fundamental transformation" of America. Kruschev warned they would take over from within, without firing a shot," Look who's laughing now.
ReplyDeleteI am reminded of Augustus Caesar, and how he kept the trappings of the Roman Republic, while ruling by edict.
ReplyDeleteSounds familiar? Only at least Augustus knew what he was doing and why ... oh, wait, so does Obama.
I don't care what they say. I'm standing my ground.
ReplyDeleteMolon labe.
ReplyDeleteRobert,
ReplyDeleteOne big difference between Augustus and Obama is, Augustus was competent, a real statesman. He also actually worked at the job.
We told them in 2008 that this clown was an incompetent, inexperienced, leftist jerk, but they didn't listen. Now even some of the rubes are starting to notice what was plain as a pikestaff five years ago. There's no hiding things from such acute minds.
But you know, given the choice and what they know now, they'd still vote for this chihuahua over any Pack, because voting for the GOP, especially those ghastly Tea Party people, would be simply too, too infra dig.
