Heard this on the radio this morning, but only the bit about "record amount for a car" and "Steve McQueen." So naturally I figured it was the green Bullitt Mustang.

Which, seriously, I would take over any Ferrari. I don't mind looking at a Lamborghini or Maserati, but what I lust for is a classic, cranky, PITA British roadster that will demand an hour of maintenance for every two spent driving. Hell, give me a "65 Corvair Monza convertible and keep your Euro-trash road rockets.

I think the Spyder is a cool car, but not $27 million worth of cool.
