Assortment

I'm thinking these fellows probably didn't graduate at the top of their class at the police academy.

Primitive primate (Pithecanthropus bidenii) sneers at his betters.

Oh, yeah, that sounds appropriate: a Muslim poem "replaced the Pledge of Allegiance over the intercom at Concord Carlisle High School in Boston—and on 9/11 of all days."

More great moments in TSA credibility.

Global politics, like nature, abhors a vacuum.

Reason number one I support Ted Cruz: he worries David Brooks (the image of Brooks lying in his bed at night - dressed in heliotrope pajamas, clutching his Obama doll, tossing and turning in sleepless anxiety - is not aesthetically pleasing, but it is balm for the soul).

Inspiration! Paco Enterprises' toy-manufacturing unit could probably make a bundle selling Obama Inaction figures to the children of liberal parents.

Obama's abstract foreign policy.

  1. I do wonder: Will that Boston school read Muslim poetry during the next Boston Marathon?

Don't forget the Biden Inaction figure with the empty cranial cavity.

  3. David Brooks:And taking this down, if it can mobilize enough Republicans so he can take over the party and become — really transform the party, then that becomes the object.

He's says that like it's a bad thing. The Republican party needs to be transformed, so it can stop Obo from transforming the country.

  4. How about a Kerry Inaction figure...with a foot in it's mouth.

  5. Brook's idea of what a good Republican does:
"he’s going to Congress to create coalitions, make alliances, and he is going to pass a lot of legislation."

'Inaction figure' got me reading Tao-te-Ching, where it says:

    "When governing is lackluster
The people are simple and honest
    When governing is scrutinizing
The people are shrewd and crafty"
    Ch. 58.

  6. Also Ch.57:

    "The more laws are posted
The more robbers and thieves there are"

  7. David Brooks was born in Toronto, which explains why he is jealous of Ted Cruz, born in Calgary.

    Cheers

  8. Looks like Miss Brooks has taken to her fainting couch again.

Passing lots of legislation? That's what we elect them for? Really?

No man's life, liberty or property is safe while Congress is in session.
