Why I wouldn't live in D.C. (reason # 397)

The city's gun owners - the city's legal gun owners - are about to become felons if they don't come in and get fingerprinted and have their weapons registered.

If for no other reason than to keep it safe, I think the U.S. constitution ought to be kept somewhere else. Maybe Texas.

Coming soon! D.C. residents required to keep their firearms in a safe....at the police headquarters.

If a goon is trying to break into your house, call the police and they'll bring your pistol to you.

Eventually.

It seems like all our bureaucracies are increasingly afraid of the citizens.

Deborah .... Only 397 reasons, Paco?

Y'all can bring the Constitution down here anytime. Well to most places in Texas anyway. Just stay away from Austin. Y'all come.

They're multiple felons anyway, what's the diff? You can't avoid being a felon these days, you just haven't been caught.

Makes it easy for the State.

Which reminds me: I heard on the radio today that DC had installed something like a hundred new traffic cameras. Fortunately, I do not drive there. Ever.
