Defending the indefensible

Of all the preposterous assertions made by Barack Obama since (and even before) he became president, few are more risible than this one: “The truth is, generally I look very sharp in jeans."

Update: Say, how would this thing know that I wasn't just listening to Obama on the car radio?

It would seem introspection and conceit are mutually exclusive.
