No, it was on recently and I meant to record it but forgot. It's the same theme - union corruption on the docks - but I think it's a significantly different plot line.
Have you seen this one, Paco? The summary at IMDB gives me an idea it's very similar to On The Waterfront.

Looks like its only DVD release was as part of a set out of TCM - now discontinued.
