He's got it all, also on 1949's "Rock Awhile" where has some simple Chuck Berry-type licks, sorry Mr Berry (and Ike Turner) I just found your predecessor. How did I not hear of Goree till you posted this Paco?
ReplyDeleteAnd in 1950 he was drafted and sent off to Korea for a year. Tough times. Gave music away to work in the rice mill rest of his life.
I posted Rock Awhile sometime last year, I think. Killer tune.
