No, Steve

No, no, no, no, NO (WARNING: imagery conjured up by this metaphor may lead to depression, seizures, nausea, heart failure or thoughts of suicide).

  1. Thanks for the warning, Paco, but "curiosity killed the cat", so-to-speak.

  2. What is it with Democrats and their poor choice of words?

  3. I don't remember hearing "open the kimono" in the '90s. Am I alone?

  4. I never heard the expression, either. The origin of this phrase may be as advertised, but, frankly, I'll only believe it if I see it something in print from the period.

  5. Aaargh!! Now I'll need the eye-bleach, and that's just for imagining The Hill "opening her kimono"
If I actually saw her "opening her kimono" I would have to dig out my own eyeballs with a teaspoon!

"Open her kimono," BTW, is not an expression I've ever heard either, not even back in the '90s when the Internet was the new frontier. I think Steve Ratnner (whoever he is) is simply making it up as he goes along.

  6. Mikael, he may, indeed, be making it up as he goes along, or the '90s were really good for him. Either way, pass the bleach. A truck load of bleach.
