Inclement weather

It's pretty soggy here in Occupied Northern Virginia, but nothing like the monsoon in South Carolina.

Pretty windy, though, as indicated by this human wind sock...

  1. Awwwww. Nice pic.

Thing is, I don't think monsoon is the right word. I saw Drudge using the word and was puzzled.

Deluge might be a better word, but I guess people see that as Biblical. Inundation?

  2. Bruce: We generally use monsoon pretty loosely just to mean lots of rain.

  3. "Biblical Inundation" goes well with the recent Super Blood Moon. Are the sharks in the streets of Myrtle Beach another sign?

Prettiest lil windsock around. Surprised she's not tethered.

Paco, how's the rest of the Paco clan doing? Prayers and best wishes all around.

  5. And where was Grandpa with the tarp and the blanket to keep the wind off?

  6. Grandpa was positioning the the tarp and/or blanket for maximum wind effect.

    Cheers
