Happy National Ammo Day!
This year, I'd like to commemorate the .38 Super - one of my favorite rounds.

"Without pairing, the Armatix functions like any other handgun, capable of being fired by anyone."
I suspect that the "pairing" could be undone, either by a decent gunsmith, or a competent IT bubba. Electronic locks are funny that way.
I'd forgotten about National Ammo Day! Oddly enough, I had a delivery from Freedom Munitions. Completely unplanned, I assure you.
Must've been one of those unsolicited promotions.
"there is a tremendous amount of resistance to government mandates of unproven, expensive and dubious design experiments"
Hell yeah.
A gun, like any other tool, is just a gun. There's no such thing as a "smart" gun, just like there's no such thing as a "smart" tool. You can improve guns and tools, but you can't make them smart. Anybody with half a brain (which leaves out most gun-control lefties) would know that.
