Ted Cruz certainly had a big night in Iowa.
Meanwhile, in the Geritol 500, it looks like Hillary just barely crossed the finish line ahead of Bernie.

I'm actually kind of comforted that Cruz won Iowa, instead of Trump. I think the final push is going to come down to Cruz, Trump, and Rubio, and I would vote for any one of them in the general (more happily for one than others).
ReplyDeleteSurprised but happy with Cruz getting the win.
ReplyDeleteEven happier with the dead heat between The Crank and The Skank. Feel the bern, my luvlies!

ReplyDeleteCheers
Great video on minicapt's link. Cruz sure knows his constituents and specific policy reforms.
ReplyDeleteIt was heartening that Cruz came in first despite his stand on ethanol. Some people still value integrity.
ReplyDeleteI'm also glad Rubio came in close to The Donald. A three-way race should be good. Either Cruz or Rubio is acceptable to me (my favorite was Jindal, but the foolish voters didn't agree). I'll vote for Trump against Hillary or Sanders (or whomever the Dems put up if Hillary goes to the Big House rather than the White House, as she should). It can be difficult voting with only one hand while the other holds your nose, but I'll manage somehow.
Did ya see the death glare on Madame Secretary's face? Bernie better watch his ass.
ReplyDeleteDecided by coin tosses, and Madame Hildebeast won 6 out of 6.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing string of luck! >_<
Norman. Yeah, what are the odds?
ReplyDeleteA Hillary operative having a word with an Iowan caucus vote-counter:

The odds are (1/2)^6 or 1/64 for six coin tosses in a row coming up heads. The odds against it are 63/64. Hillary is wasted as a pol, she should be a pro gambler at Vegas.
ReplyDeleteSome people have been pointing out that of the top four vote getters among the GOP in Iowa, two were Hispanics and one black. Together they gained 60 percent of the vote in one of the most conservative and pale states in the Union. Next time you hear some lying prevaricator of a leftie spouting off about the "racist" conservatives or GOP, throw that in his face.
