"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Trying to stop poor people from murdering each other costs money.
ReplyDeleteHassling and fining the productive makes money.
DC spends so much money doing things they're not supposed to do they can't afford to do the things they are supposed to do.
I will say that fining babies is better than towing out of town cars legally parked. At least that kid's mother has the ability to vote for the gov't of DC.
No taxation without representation! looks a little different from that perspective.
Obama says the internet is like the "wild wild west". So we outlaws are in Paco's gang. Funny how the internet is supposed to need policing, but not the streets of Chicago and DC. I guess if we redefine ourselves as community organisers of the internet all will be well.

ReplyDeleteSo what you're saying is that they're planning a Number 6 on us?
"Number 6"? I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that one.
ReplyDeleteLet's just say I'm not going to the Number 6 dance.
ReplyDeleteWe all know that climate change is the most important issue of our day. You'd think it would be terrorism, but no, according to *most Americans. *Those interviewed on the street.) The toddler and mother are lucky they weren't jailed. DC would have made more money, and the kid would have learned a trade.
ReplyDeleteVeeshir: "...fining babies is better than towing out of town cars legally parked..." They'd make more money towing cars with diplomatic plates. Dang that immunity.
