I went on the Yale diet and gained ten pounds

Just can't figure out what went wrong.

  1. Turns out symbolic hunger strike calories are just like vacation calories. They do count!

  2. It's all in the stern, determined facial mien. Is mien a word? I've seen it before. Anyway, an ascetic countenance, preferably in a black and white photo, should be enough for one's resume in the rent-a-mob industry.

  3. Ya know, a lot of unions have thugs to "influence" people to agree with them.

Looking at the picture of this 'Union 33' bunch, I'm wondering which one is the thug?

  4. 'Local 33' not 'Union 33'. It's early, I'm not woke yet.

  6. I know. It's a struggle, but you gotta be part of that, too.

  7. That's what happens when people want to have their cake and eat it too.

  8. In the 90s they came up with the "rolling hunger strike" Someone wouldn't eat and then after a few days or even a few hours the hunger strike would move to a different person so the previous person would be free to eat. The result is people who brag about how much they care and how committed they are to the cause and that they are making a difference while their participation in the hunger strike was so short they never had a chance to get hungry.
