John McCain dead at 81

Senator John McCain succumbs to cancer.

I commend him for his military service and lament his suffering during his captivity by the Vietnamese communists. God rest his soul and comfort his family.

Meanwhile the left is running true to form. Take a brief look and reflect that's what years of "bipartisanship" and "reaching across the aisle" get you with them.

John McCain served his country honorably if not always well, and even though he disliked Donald Trump intensely, I think he would be appalled to see how his death is being used by the crapweasels that infest our society to attack Trump. They have no decency.

Wait, didn't the press declare him evil when he ran for President? It was going to be Handmaid's Tail for real (the book) if he got in.

He lived a full and honourable life, even when he was wrong.
I'll say the same for Jimmy Carter when his time comes.

It is difficult to imagine what he endured.
I wanted to see him elected President, if for no other reason than to enjoy the North Viets squirming as they had to deal with him.
It takes hours to read about what he went through.

Now he's at peace.
