You leftists want a civil war along tribal lines?

Fine. I'll stand with my tribe.

I grew up in various oil-field communities made up of Mexicans and whites, with the occasional black (attended school with the Mexican kids, but the black ones weren't allowed in, alas, until I was a junior in high school). My father believed wholeheartedly in separate but equal (which he naively thought was exactly that), but my more realistic mother tried all our lives to teach us to treat all people as we would want to be treated. Which is why, even as a child, I was expected to address even a black woman as "ma'am" and a black man as "Mr. or sir".

All that is not to say I never had a bad thought about someone of another race (always due to their behavior, not because of their skin color). But even then I always tried. Now, after these last few years of sheer anti-white, anti-American meanness and ugliness, I don't know if I can keep on trying, and it is beyond disheartening. This isn't what my dad fought the Nazis for. So I want to say, "Thanks Obama, and thanks Democrats, and thanks to all you Marxists. You've just about made me tribal.

Good on you, RebeccaH.

It's sickening the way the Marxists(dons tinfoil hat/ and the ruling Satanists behind the scenes /removes tinfoil hat) have used race and class to balkanize societies and create chaos throughout the formerly free West.

Diabolical, is the best way to describe what is happening.
Insanity everywhere.

Slightly off topic: I went to my local liquor shop today and after my purchase was informed by the store clerk that the boss had decreed that the store would no longer supply plastic bags.
So customers must find some other way of carrying their purchases home.
Pure lunacy.

Am I the only one who is glad he's old, and probably won't be around when this country gets to where it's headed?*

*Unless there's a major course correction.

R-man: I'm glad I wasn't born any later than I was.

Mike_W, our stores still supply plastic bags, but the supermarket where we shop supplies canvas bags with compartments when we buy wine. They're great.

I said canvas bags. They're actually some kind of recycled fiber that kind of feels like canvas.

Rebecca: I know the kind of bags you're talking about. I think they're recycled hobo pants.

Wow, RebeccaH, good to hear that there is still some sanity somewhere.
I seem to be surrounded by virtue-signalling, idiot leftists lately, here in Australia.

Even my family are leftists; heck one of my sisters even sent me the autobiographies of Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama, as well as "The Davinci Code"; all three books ended up in the rubbish bin.
Well, I guess she cared enough about me to send me books :(

Recycled hobo pants, Paco? So there's room for a bottle in each pants leg?
