Sandra Sully's low voice is actually pleasant to us and a familiar old TV mainstay, although I stopped watching her news reports because of the insipid content. (Sorry ladies but American voices on TV sound screechy to me, I actually need subtitles to understand them).
Before 50 years ago they tried to make us sound British. Hearing our own voices on new 1960s TV was an exciting breakthrough. Now CBS wants to make us sound British again. Clueless liberals! (But they have Americanised the young, so maybe we are doomed).
