Lets us remember to be grateful for our mothers' firm but tender guidance, their strength in adversity, their courage and sacrifice.
Update
Here's a nice tribute by Jimmy Dean (H/T: Friend and commenter Deborah)
"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
I dreamed about my mother last night. She hugged me. I miss her more and more the older I get.
ReplyDeleteWell put, Paco. Jimmy Dean, star of country music, tv, movies, and businessmen did a incredible tribute to mothers titled I.O.U. It is available on the internet. I was lucky to see the episode of his tv show the other night in which he did it. I.O.U. is an amazing spoken word song that perfectly articulates debt to a mother.
ReplyDeleteRebecca, I feel the same.
Happy Mother's Day to all! Thank you for giving me such wonderful friends!
