Sunday funnies

So, which came first, the chicken or the egg...um, or the puppy?

Don't you hate to be an introvert among extroverts?

Gorillas don't much like getting caught in the rain, either.

S-o-o-o...you're saying I should give up, right?

Of course, without the fence, it might be more like "lunch time!"

From Powerline's "The Week in Pictures".

I watched gorilla feeding time at the zoo. They're corralled while attendants place food all around the yard, then let loose - the male and his harem of females. He was fastest out of the pen, shoved the females, ran and got what he wanted, not a gentleman.

I saw that Grumpy Cat post on Powerline, and at first I didn't get it. Then I found out Grumpy Cat passed away, and it all became clear. ;-)

Could that be an Irish double negative? As in 'don't never'.

Curiously, "Don't never..." sounds ok, in a bad grammar sort of way, whereas "Never don't..." clangs against the ear drums. I've no idea why this should be. Actually, though, if Justin Wilson used "never don't" in one of his baroque Cajun constructions, I bet it would soun' jes' fine, an' we couldn't even tol' the difference.
