Assortment

"Michael Bloomberg’s Top 10 Gun Controls". Here's my Number One Michael Bloomberg control: don't ever let this arrogant know-it-all near elective office again.

Leaky canoes and unreported burglaries as far as the eye can see: "Gov. Ralph Northam confirms Virginia already 'working on' gun confiscation now that Democrats are in control".

I'm not in favor of book burning, but I think it'd be ok to throw this one off a pier.

San Francisco is rapidly becoming a parody of itself: "Hugo Chavez's trusted advisor gets ready to run the San Francisco District Attorney's office".

The word "bombshell" is greatly overused, but this seems to be one to me (at least a little bombshell): "Former US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley alleges in her new book that two of President Trump’s senior advisers tried to recruit her to secretly undermine the administration from the inside. Haley says John Kelly and Rex Tillerson wanted her to subvert President Trump." Tillerson doesn't surprise me, but Kelly - a former USMC general, of all things - not just bucking, but undermining, the chain of command? I hope this isn't true, but if it is, it seems like the upper echelons of our military command structure are in need of some serious reeducation. Oh, and btw, why are we hearing from Nikki Haley about this so late in the day? Did she ever tell the President, or did he have to find out about it when her book came out?

Yes, the Gallup survey does claim that 65 million people admire Hillary Clinton. What it fails to mention is that they’re all located in a single Cook County cemetery. And none of them buy books because there isn’t a single Barnes and Noble bookstore that they can reach and return from before the sun rises.

Truth.

Maybe Hillary should have taken a smoke signal from Elizabeth Warren and written a cookbook?

Can you imagine a Hillary cookbook? My Favorite Roadkill Casserole: How To Hide The Body.

As for Tillerson, I don't know much about him, but remember Obama's purge of the command structure in the Pentagon? What did he replace them with?

Did she ever tell the President ... ?

It's possible that's why they were canned.

Spiny: Could be; I didn't think of that. In fact, it might even be very likely.

Along with Nikki Haley's revelations, Ledeen notes that Flynn must have really upset people when he streamlined Intel by cutting out the Washington middle men:
