Did the secretive Matt Drudge sell out?

No, I don't mean "sell out" in the sense of becoming a knee-jerk NeverTrumper (although it's pretty clear he did that, too). I mean, did he sell his web site? Some people seem to think so.

Don't know, don't care, I dumped the site some time ago.

For as much as I care, I've thought he sold a couple years ago. Who's Matt Drudge anyway? Does such a person exist? I've seen no evidence, other than the Paul Drake photo.

As far as I can remember, Drudge has had a bug up his ass about "The Donald" long before Trump ran for President. Trump-bashing was a "spectator sport" in the New York media for decades.

(Full disclosure: I was Spy Magazine subscriber back in the day. I remember when the publisher called Donald Trump "a short-fingered vulgarian", and Trump only objected to the "short-fingered" part of the insult, which he did again when someone in the press brought it up during the campaign.)
