He's bad news either way

Bernie's vaunted "consistency" is vastly overrated.

But, still, in your heart, you know he's red.

Update: The donk establishment doesn't want Bernie, even going so far as to smooth the way for the Littlest Billionaire, Michael Bloomberg

Update II: Was Joe Biden just a cat's paw being used by the Deep State?

The thing is, if the DNC ran the primaries fairly, he might actually win. The "Berniebros" know this, and the little anarchist in me hopes they try to make good on Bernie's hipster beardlings' threats to "burn Milwaukee to the ground" if the Dems cheat again.

The Littlest Dictator may be small in stature, but has such a ridiculous record as NYC mayor, he'd be a big target.

Update

Gropin Joe has such a bad habit of invading everyone's personal space (poke-poke-poke), that he is rapidly becoming a liability, anyway.

Spiny, any sentence containing "DNC" and "fairly" is an oxymoron by default. But I must admit to a similar feeling in regards to Bernie's shock troops.

Paco, that's some interesting analysis there; the Conservative Tree House is a good source for that sort of thing. I'm torn between gasping at the implied ruthlessness of the Deep State in throwing Biden under the bus, and snickering at their desperate grasping of straws.

The assumption is, of course, that Biden was manipulated into running for office. That's not any stretch of the imagination, as Plugs' hugely inflated ego and non-towering intellect makes him a prime candidate for such. With the obvious corruption throughout the Biden Klan, not to mention his disturbing personal behavior, throwing him to the wolves would be an easy thing for the Deep State. So it fits together as a scheme to provide the "evidence" needed to impeach Trump.

I'm certain that anyone drinking the donk Koolaid accepts that "evidence" at face value (saying nothing good about their intellect or ethics in the process), but to anyone with even a hint of critical thinking capability, it's laughably thin. To be effective in creating the right conditions, the entire plot (as assumed) requires Trump to follow their script almost verbatim.

Never base your plans on what you want the enemy to do. Trump certainly would be concerned about foreign corruption, and he may have been concerned about Biden's influence in that matter. But the bait apparently dangled by the Deep State was Biden as a presidential candidate, so that Trump would go after him, not the foreign corruption. Which he didn't do.

Alas, Biden was close enough to the foreign corruption that there was the appearance of Trump targeting Biden, and that's what the donks went for. Appearance matters in the court of public opinion.

Even then, they had to lie, fabricate evidence, spin propaganda, insult, smear, demean, and in general stage a giant s**tshow to convince their base, and somehow convince the world that the Orange Man Is Bad. That's where the donks, with their Deep State allies, grasped at straws, thanks to their lack of real evidence. While pulling off their masks in the process, for everyone to see the tyrants in the open.

At the same time, the donks and their allies wiped their a$$es with the Constitution, no doubt with giggles and smiles. That's the sad part -- we are being attacked from within. The rot is deep.

Moving on ... ... the donks lack a viable presidential candidate -- everyone still in the campaign have major issues, but pandering is the most common theme. Whomever gets the DNC nod will give Trump a run for his money (thanks, media!), but that creature will have to move so far left to even TRY and please lefties that Stalin will smile from his corner of Hell.

And spend one heckuva lot of money for their campaign (even with the inevitable free advertising from the media). Even so, there's very little chance that they will actually convince Americans that the donk nod is who should be in the White House. But the donks will try.

So, yeah, I'm thinking that Bloomberg will be the donk's presidential candidate. Bernie would make Stalin dance with glee, but he's so inconsistent and out of sync with the donks, he won't get the nod. Not to mention, Bernie has a lot less money than Bloomberg.

Ugh. The runup to the November elections is going to be ugly.

I agree that there's a very good chance "Mini Mike" will be the nominee. This could lead to a continuing fracture between the Democrat party's left wing and super-left wing (that's pretty much the only wings that are left).

I'm torn about the obvious fractures within the democrats. On the one hand, it's a self-inflicted wound, and it couldn't happen to a nicer group of thugs, sheeple, and corruptocrats.

On the other hand, that super-left wing is filled with snow flakes with child-like control of their emotions, possessing a deliberately instilled ignorance, and demanding instant gratification on everything. They're a short step from open violence (witness the so-called antifa, and the gulag talk from Bernie's supporters) as it is. After the donks stomp on their aspirations again, their leadership will have a hard time restraining them. If, in fact, their leadership actually wants to restrain them. While I believe that the chances of cities burning from the super-left wing are low, the potential is definitely there.

Which is one reason why I think that 2020 is going to be yet another "interesting" time to live.

Terrifying that this communist has so many Americans willing to vote for him.
Many of his followers and campaign workers are died-in-the-wool-red communists, believing in Stalinesque solutions to free market resistance to the Five Year Plan™

Mike: Yep, all the old commie tropes. It is ominous, but is probably the inevitable result of our educational system, which was captured by leftists many years ago.
