On Antiques Roadshow the other day a guy brought in a Belgian 12 shot revolver, big ugly thing with 2 rows of chambers. He had some story that Buffalo Bill gave it to someone on a tour of Europe, but the expert said that was unlikely, also pointed out how unwieldy and impractical it was as a pistol.
Same here. I'm trying to recall the scene in the movie, hoping that will lead to the movie. No luck so far, but the way my memory works, it may just pop into my mind when I'm not even thinking about it.

Which movie was it that John Wayne said something about one of these, along the lines of "It fires six shots, sometimes all at once".
