This local had the right spirit.

Here's Maggie, drying out after swimming.

And she capped tonight off my baking a cake (with an assist from grandma).

"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Looks like a fun day, Paco.
ReplyDeleteYes, the locals have the right idea.
Ah, Maggie! She is certainly growing up!
ReplyDeleteI trust that you conducted quality control tests on the cake, Paco!
Mike, you should have seen all the Trump flags!
ReplyDeleteJeff, yes, I put the cake through the two-stage Paco quality control process.
Memories of when my grandchildren were that age. Love.
ReplyDeleteSomething just occurred to me: perhaps that pirate flag shows the location where the Oak Island pirate treasure is buried!
ReplyDeleteMike: I think that's the other Oak Island. Although wouldn't it be hilarious if, after all these years, the guys digging on the one off of Nova Scotia discovered somehow that they were on the wrong Oak Island.
ReplyDeleteA trip to the beach topped off by chocolate cake is a wonderful day for all! Keep enjoying! Stock up on milk.
ReplyDeleteThose at that house have the right idea. Show yer colours!
