From a composer who needs no introduction, here is Johann Sebastian Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring.

Huh, more dead white racist male music. No wonder the world is so unjust.
I remember William F. Buckley, Jr. adored Bach. One of the few times he seemed to utterly fly off the handle in print was when some inner city "youth" called Bach "an old dead punk".
I wondered who the first guy after Bach in the photo was - I think it's Leopold Stokowski, but younger than we usually see him.
I first heard the name in the Bugs Bunny cartoon, the one where Bugs conducts an orchestra, brushes his ears back, and as he walks to the podium there are gasps of 'Leopold!'. Stokowski did a lot to make Bach popular again, such as recording arrangements of Bach organ music for large orchestra.
Bruce: Ah, a Warner Bros classic! You may also recall that a silhouette of Stokowski appeared in Disney's Fantasia.
