Interesting high-resolution footage of Mars
Thanks for the link, Mike. I've been a Marsophile since I was 13 an first started reading scifi books (too bad Bradbury's Martian Chronicles weren't accurate). Even if they don't find life on Mars (which they probably won't), wouldn't it be something if they found fossil evidence of life from Mars' watery past?

Paco Enterprises' subsidiary, Get Real(ty), can use some stills from that film to market lots in its Sundown Hills development in Arizona (which, unfortunately, doesn't have any hills - although there are some interesting craters caused by bombs that went slightly astray from planes using the bombing range next door).

It does look like parts of AZ, right after a flood. It's weird how it looks like drying out mud in some places.

It's fascinating when a geologist explains the rock formations on other planets.
There's a geologist who runs a site I visit who explains such things really well.
He has some weird ideas on some things but his presentations of both Earth geology and the geology of other planets is excellent.

We see small polygon/octagon structures on the surface of sandstone outcrops in Sydney's Blue Mountains Mike. How they formed is a puzzle. I see it's called 'tortoise shell weathering':
