I have to wonder what the most ridiculous 'conspiracy theory' there could be to explain what the deal is with that monolith. Because that's probably the real reason. Probably something to do with aliens, the Illuminati and maybe Oak Island.
I still expect we'll see a glowing puff piece on this transgressive and bold artist, whoever it turns out to be. And it will feature some line like "In the age of Trump, reality itself seems under attack..."
