"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
I have the impression that I've heard this music before, in a black and white movie where the damsel in distress in forced to dance a ballroom dance with the villain just before the hero swings off a balcony on a chandelier and leaps down to rescue her. Am I wrong?
ReplyDeleteAccording to wiki, Masquerade was composed as incidental music for a play of the same name written by Mikhail Lermontov. I don't recall ever hearing it in the soundtrack of a movie, but there's a giant heap of movies I haven't seen.
