I don't care how it's done, but this guy needs to go. I think he's a traitor AND a fool. In fact, it was his pledge to "destroy" the Tea Party back in the day that caused me to register as an independent after being a registered Republican my whole adult life. Goggle-eyed, mush-mouthed, back-stabbing power junky.
Hey, Kurt Schlichter, do you still see McConnell as the "most effective Senate knife-fighter" in decades? I mean, for our side? Maybe that's not fair to Kurt, maybe he's changed his mind by now, but I'm not giving money to Townhall to get behind their pay wall to find out.
Update Bad link fixed.
Bad link, Paco. It goes to an article about Brandon’s rental SUVs burning up.
ReplyDeleteBut I completely agree …… Mitch is a millstone around the necks of Americans, regardless of their politics.
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing out the wrong link, Jeff. It's fixed now.
ReplyDeleteIt's been obvious since 2017, you might say back to Tea Party days and definitely there were signs in 2008 when Bush sent his people out to call us racists for wanting to enforce immigration law, that the national GOP is a lost cause, they are not on our side.
ReplyDeleteAfter the 2020 election I gave up on the Republican party and registered as an independent. I, too, have been a life-long Republican but their lack of backbone and the willingness to fold in the face of any resistance is disheartening. Mitch is a proud member of the uniparty cabal that rules in DC.
ReplyDeleteThe citizens of Kentucky have not done us any favors by returning him to office for the last 37 years. Time to walk away, Mitch, and allow someone with the courage to fight to take your place.
I think he may need to be dragged away. Those guys really love the trappings of power and prestige.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Paco. The government is filled with power-loving types who refuse to give it up until they're shoveled into the grave. They feed on it.
