Via friend and commenter JeffS, here's a follow-up from PJ Media: "Feds Link Attack on North Carolina Substations to Attacks on Oregon, Washington Power Stations".
And here's a YouTube video that provides some additional information. I don't know anything about that channel or who operates it, but the most interesting thing to me is that the county government imposed a curfew (it expired a couple of hours ago, according to local news sources).
I didn’t know about the SOF presence. That changes the seriousness of this incident to a higher level.
ReplyDeleteBut the local response by agencies and non-government organizations is heart warming.
I detected the distinct odor of rodent yesterday when I spotted an article on similar substation attacks in OR and WA, and that the Feebs had sent out a notice of coordinated attacks.
ReplyDeleteThese things have been going on for years. Yahoos shooting or otherwise damaging substations because, what the hell, that's what yahoos do when they're bored with shooting up road signs and whacking mailboxes from pickups. All that has changed recently is the Deep State's determination to expose the vast red hatted Mega-MAGA right wing white nationalist violent extremist conspiracy. It could very well have been shopping carts disappearing from grocery store parking lots. As is well known, Nazis love them some shopping carts.
So I call bullsh!t on this. It's gonna take a lot more than solemn assurances from the straight shooting lantern jawed patriotic straight shooters in federal law enforcement to convince me.
I don't think the FBI has any hard evidence of coordinated attacks. They're just going by their "model", which consists of a strawman army of white, domestic terrorists. If domestic terrorists are at the root of the problem, I'm confident that their number includes the usual complement of FBI provocateurs.
ReplyDeleteThe common denominator identified by the Effing Bee Eye “intelligence” analysts probably comes down to “Gee, substations are being attacked across the country!”
ReplyDelete(Which has been happening for decades …. I recall an old police drama from the 1960s where a criminal gang with a nefarious scheme to rob a place with lots of loot, shut down power by ramming a car into a critical part of a substation. If Hollywood knew it, everyone else did. D’oh!)
Whereupon “managers”, in order to suck up to Wray and Garland, immediately pounce on this assessment by asserting that it’s the work of “domestic terrorists”.
Such is the state of affairs in our nation.
With that many special forces personnel living in the area, it's no surprise there was no spike in crime. If you want to commit crime, you don't go where government-sanctioned trained killers live.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, they may be why that area was chosen for an attack on the grid. We'll probably never know because even if the Federal Bureau of Insurrection catch the miscreants, they won't tell us. Not unless they can pin it on ultra-MAGA or QAnon terrorists, of course.
