So, a piccolo is a type of clarinet. I always thought it was a specific fireworks.
Shows what I know about music, i.e., I am limited to pushing the "Play" button. It took me a while to master vinyl records as a youngling.
The lower register of the octocontralto sounds like it would only be good for making t-rex noises on the soundtrack of a dinosaur movie.
