Trump may not always be the most circumspect rhetorician, but he has never actively called for his supporters to physically assault their political opponents -- including on Jan. 6, when he called for his throng of supporters gathered at the Ellipse to "peacefully and patriotically" demonstrate at the Capitol. The same cannot be said for Trump's opposition, such as when Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) said earlier this year on MSNBC that Trump is "unfit," "destructive to our democracy," and "has to be eliminated." According to a poll released on Wednesday, a whopping 28% of Democrats said America would be better off if Trump were assassinated -- and another 24% of Democrats confessed uncertainty.
Imagine their full-blown panic if Trump wins the election. They're already frothing about being sent to concentration camps, being murdered on the streets, having their cats forced to live with dogs.

ReplyDeleteDemocrats are saying that even if he wins they won't let him take office because he's an insurectionist, which may require Supreme Court intervention, and I'm sure that inauguration day will involve firey but mostly peaceful protests just like his last inaugural.

I think the secret service is talking to Elon Musk because in comments regarding the attempts on Trump's life he asked why no one is targeting Biden or Harris; poor phrasing rather than an incitement; same as Pack's question about assassins being leftists.
ReplyDeleteAll sustained by lies. For example I just happened to glance at German Deutsche Welle news which repeated the lie that Trump was causing Haitian migrants to be threatened in Ohio with a 'false claim'. Lies are literally travelling around the world, and the gullible are accepting them.
