We have no business in Syria. The Israelis (and probably the Saudis on the sly) will take care of ISIS.

ReplyDeleteTwenty plus years ago I was so moved by the online pleas of Christians in Iraq that I wrote to Alexander Downer (John Howard's Foreign Minister) supporting an invasion of the country. Got a nice reply from his secretary.
ReplyDeleteAnway, later after Saddam's regime was deposed, I read that Christians there were even worse off. That's the last time I'll support such intervention.

seems like everyone is worse off after the overthrow of these tyrants, and the people US and western Europe are slowly becoming more aware that they can, maybe, stop the spread; antisemitism and antichristianism has increased dramatically as "refugees" from the tyrannical countries leave to spread the tyranny rather than escape it.
