Update Veeshir says he wants one of these for Christmas.
"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Must have been before my time ... this one I do not remember.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately.
I want one.
ReplyDeleteSomeone else had a Remco Civil War cannon ad.
Remco musta been Ronco's father.

ReplyDeleteSee if that works.
I wasn't aware of the rocket set or the cannon when I was a little fellow. Would have loved to have either one. I did have a robot that fired missiles out of his head, though.
ReplyDeleteI want one of those cannons NOW!
ReplyDeleteOne Christmas, I was given a really cool tank; it was battery operated, with a wired in controller; even the turret rotated. Plus the tank fired a rubber tipped bullet from a spring. You could throw in a little flour to make it look authentic.
I forget the name, though.
I had that tank too JeffS.
ReplyDeleteI was bummed when I lost all the projectiles.
I will say I dplore the racism inherent in the cannon.
I still want one, but I denounce myself.
Thanks for the reminder, Veeshir. I forgot to denounce myself, which I hereby do here and now.
DeleteAs for the tank ... ... yeah, I lost all the projectiles as well. But I recall shooting my younger brother in the forehead with it.
DeleteHe was quite annoyed.
I don't remember either one of these, either, but that doesn't mean much.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I had a bunch of neat toys that I don't remember now. Most of the ones I remember are just vague memories, for the most part. I'm sure my parents were thrilled with me all the times I begged for a toy, then played with it about three times before it went to the back of the closet.
